{made} community was born during the 2010 holiday season. a passion for bead collecting turned into making small batches of pieces we love to share. we’ve been graced with many friends, makers, + partners over the course of our journey. our work can be found in several stores + at markets across the region. the home + heart of {made} is in Iowa City where Rachael + Bridget create. follow along for the story behind the beads.

a love of making + sharing drives her. when she’s not cutting hair or designing jewelry, you’ll find Rachael at Open Heartland welcoming immigrant families to Iowa City. community is {made} one person at a time.
bridget
a love for all things creative, bridget lends her industrial design + sustainability + studio arts passions to the {made} team. a woman of many talents she also has a portfolio of her own, Bridget Brown Studios.
